Happy Leap Year! I was originally planning to spend this day getting organized and catching up on work. My office is a wreck and has been for too long. I really need to purge some scrap supplies and finish up a few straggling projects. But then I woke up to an incredible sunny day, two kiddos with excess energy (Hayden's off school today) and the outdoors just beckoning us to come and play. So I'm taking this cue to put off the "Need-To List" and refer, instead, to the "Want-To List."
As soon as I finish up this post, we are headed to Barnes & Noble for a bit of book browsing. Then we are going to explore a new park, after which we are meeting my grandparents for lunch at Chipotle. On the way home, we're stopping at the stable to see my horse, Taxi, and give him some treats and love. And tonight, we have an evening of Mr. Magorium's Magic Emporium and pizza planned.
Sounds like a pretty perfect way to spend this "extra" day, huh?
I'll leave you with a few pages I did last Friday at a crop. (You can click on the page to enlarge.) I added the stitching after I got home since my sewing machine makes a cumbersome crop accessory.
Enjoy your Leap Day!
