Yesterday, this was our advent prompt:
So we grabbed some pinecones, a big jar of peanut butter, some birdseed and went to work!
First, we spread peanut butter over the pinecones:
Then we rolled them in birdseed (and some bread crumbs, too!):
Then we attached a string for hanging, and we had a tasty treat for our feathered friends.
We hung them in a tree visible from our window, and hope the birds (or squirrels!) will enjoy this holiday treat.
