Be Our Guest!

Hello friends!  The gallery for the March Jenni Bowlin kit is live and you need to hop on over and check it out, as it largely features lots of Jenni's new line, Be Our Guest.  I wanted to share a couple things I did with the kit today - I've got several more projects still in the works, so check back later this week for those, ok?

Tick Tock | supplies:  Bazzill cardstock in Steel Blue & Black + Jenni Bowlin papers:  die cut clock & Game Night + Jenni Bowlin button + baker's twine + American Crafts pen + Silhouette die cut machine + fonts (Doris Day, Clarendon)

The best part about this page was the fun I had looking for old photos of Hayden! I chose to print one from each of his 10 years, and seeing them all in one place is pretty cool.  It also makes me realize how crazy fast the past ten years have gone. :(

I cut up portions of the Game Night paper (numbers 1 -10) and randomly applied them to the grid which was stitched with my sewing machine.The title was cut on my trusty Silhouette using the fonts Doris Day (tick) and Clarendon (tock).

Woven Heart Card | supplies:  Bazzill cardstock + Jenni Bowlin papers (Sewing Room, Tea Towel, His, Hers, Home Sweet Home) + Jenni bowlin button + Jenni Bowlin Chili Powder ink + twine

For this background, I cut lots of 1/4" strips and wove them together, cutting the ends at random lengths. I topped it off with a heart cut from the Home Sweet Home paper and a pink Sew-On button.
