First off, thanks so much to everyone who commented yesterday. While I feel kind of sheepish calling you lurkers out and boldly soliciting comments, I'm so glad you indulged me. :) It's nice to "meet" you readers and find out your thoughts once in a while. And it makes me feel less like I'm talking to myself here. So thanks for making a girl's day...and encouraging me to keep posting!
So.....today's Five on Friday centers around something very important to me - MY CAMERA! I've been neglecting it lately, so to motivate me (and you, too!) to get reacquainted with it, I've picked out a list of things every photogtapher (or wanna-be photographer, like me!) need to have:
A sweet little photographer's necklace from Ruche.com. This old fashioned camera in a pewter-colored finish has just a bit of bling with the rhinestone lens. And at only 1/2-inch wide, could it be any cuter??
A retro camera keychain from ModCloth. I love big, slightly bulky keychains because they make finding my keys in the depths of my pursea bit easier. And if they were attached to this adorable little piece of art, I might just keep them out on display!
A hand-carved camera stamp from The Brown Pigeon. Any photographer/ scrapbooker needs this stamp in her arsenal of scrap supplies, right? Besides being useful in your scrapping, the wood stamp is a piece of art in itself!
A set of drinking glasses from Vital. I love this screened-printed beverage set, and they are made right here in Denver. After a long day of shooting, these would be perfect to hold a nice cold beer. Or margarita. Or gin & tonic. Or (if it's been a reallllly long day), all three!
A canvas camera messenger bag from Happy Family. I love the simple silkscreened design on this bag - it would be perfect for toting home those library books on quantum physics and nuclear fission. Or, in my case, mindlessly smutty chick lit. Tomato, taMAHto.
So go forth, my photographer friends, and SHOP! And have a good weekend, too, ya hear?
