Good Monday morning! Did you know the JBS Mercantile Gallery went live on Saturday? Yep, and you need to check it out! Also, don't miss new dt member Waleska's creations on the blog - they are nothing short of amazing!
Here are two of my pages from the kit - I am loving the fall color palette. It's perfect partner with a Pumpkin Spice Latte and it's still in stock - so grab it while you can!
Family | supplies: Bazzill cardstock + patterned paper (Fancy Pants Mother Earth, Studio Calico Wallpaper, Fancy Pants Harvest, American Crafts Hanging Out) + Jillibean Soup corrugated alpha + Studio Calico butterfly stickers + Silhouette die cut machine + Typenoksidi font
I've been wanting to use this clip-art tree with my Silhouette for some time now, and this kit was the perfect opportunity to do it. I cut the tree from the Fancy Pants cream polka dot paper (had to do it in two halves, because it's so wide) and then hand-cut the leaves from the other papers. I love how it turned out!
6 months | supplies: Bazzill cardstock + patterned paper (Studio Calico Woodgrain One, American Crafts Wanderlust, Studio Calico Wallpaper, Fancy Pants Mother Earth, Fancy Pants Harvest) + Fancy Pants alpha stickers + Jenni Bowlin Studio stamp + JBS Weather Vane ink + Maya Road lace trim + The Twinery twine + Veteran Typewriter font
I took almost 300 photos of my niece back in July when she was six months old - and I just might scrap all 300. :) She is too photogenic!
I'll leave you with a quick (and kind of crappy) shot of my weekend project - distressing this bed for our guest room. When I spotted a similar one in Pottery Barn, my handy hubby said he could make one, and I held him to it! He finished the construction, and it was my job to paint and distress it. One long weekend and intense arm workout later, and here's the result:
Mike suggested we go into the business of making custom furniture together until I reminded him that it's taken us approximately six months to get this project completed. And unless we could charge a cool $20,000 for the bed, I doubt we'd able to survive on the income.
So now I just need to find the perfect cozy quilt to top it and our guest room will be done. (Future blog post fodder, me thinks!)
Enjoy your Monday my friends!
