I have always been an aficionado of alphabets. When I first started scrapping, it was the letter stickers that got my heart all aflutter. I loved the simple and modern sans serif fonts, the delicate scripty ones, and the classic serif alphas. I sought out themed alphas for baby layouts (rattles and blocks!) and sports layouts (basketball and soccer alphas!) and wedding pages (flowers and ribbons and dove-adorned letters, oh my!) And so I collected every font, color, and kind I could get my hot little hands on. (I even may have gone so far as to have purchased a Comic Sans sticker sheet. We'll just chalk that up to rookie scrapbooking. And, uh, let's keep that little tidbit between us, okay?)
Suffice it say that my scrapbook stash has always contained an overwhelming amount of alphabets. So when foam stamps came along, I couldn't resist adding them to my collection. Letters I could use over and over again, in any color ink?? Come to mama! And then they got buried by a large stack of Thickers, never to been seen again.
The foam stamps found the light of day a few weeks back when I was doing some cleaning. I still love them just as much as I used to, but they need to find a home where someone will use them.
I have more than 100 various letters....3 different fonts in upper & lower case, plus numbers and some symbols too.
The majority have never been used, but a few have tell-tale paint and ink stains (but are still perfectly useable!) They work equally well with both ink and paint.
If you'd like to give these wayward alphas a home, just leave me a comment below. I'll randomly draw a winner on Monday. Internationals are welcome to enter as well - these are super light and shipping shouldn't bankrupt me :)
Enjoy your Thursday (and hug an alphabet!)
