During the last week of Thanksgiving vacation, we filled the days with lots of activities, including:
A belated birthday celebration for Grandpa Larry.
A trip to the doggy dentist to get this guy's teeth cleaned.
Roasting chestnuts for Thanksgiving stuffing (and filling the house with a lovely holiday scent!)
Setting a fancy table and preparing for guests.
Cooking and carving a 22-pound gobbler (and enjoying endless leftovers after the big meal!)
Giving thanks for our many blessings.
Assembling a 1500-piece puzzle (without losing a single piece - woo hoo!)
Snapping a family photo for the annual Christmas card.
Decorating the Christmas tree and reminiscing over favorite ornaments.
And, of course, enjoying the warm glow of Christmas lights.
