Today we're kicking off another Gardeners' Digest blog hop, spotlighting some of the wonderful projects and happenings at Two Peas in a Bucket. Be sure and make a stop at each blog on the hop (there's a complete list on the Two Peas blog) because there is lots of inspiring stuff to see, and some pretty cool giveaways, too!
When I was writing this post, I realized that I've already shared both of my September Garden projects here on the blog. I didn't want to repeat them (lest you think I am completely losing my mind and can't remember what I've posted. Which usually only happens when I attempt to compose a post without at least three cups of coffee.) So instead I'm featuring a project that has yet to make an appearance here:
This page includes a large focal photo (mine is 5.5" x 7.5"), plus a small booklet that holds additional photos. It's a great design when you want to keep things simple, but have a lot of photos (or journaling) that you want to include.
You can check out my whole process video (as well as detail shots and an additional project) in the Seeing Double series.
I've bookmarked lots of projects from the Two Peas Gallery this month, but this one by Michiko.K is a favorite. Her use of ink and layers makes me want to pull out my supplies and SCRAP! She's beautifully combined a whole array of supplies, yet the end result is still crisp and clean:
There are new products arriving in the Two Peas Store daily, not to mention lots of great fall sales going on. Here are five products that recently jumped into my bucket:
I've got a cute little giveaway today for one lucky commenter - a set of Simple Stories Smarty Pants Sn@p Pockets. These are perfect for tucking additional photos and journaling into a layout, and the variety of sizes make them easy to slip into Project Life pockets. The Smarty Pants line is a bright, bold and colorful collection perfect for back to school documentation.
If you'd like to be entered to win these pockets, just leave me a comment here today. I'll randomly pick a winner on Wednesday, September 25 and announce it at the bottom of this post.
Your next destination on the hop is the amazing Jill Sprott so click over there next. And enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Congrats to Lynne Rudolph, winner of the Simple Stories Sn@p pockets! Thanks to everyone who who hopped along with us and don't forget to check back on the 22nd of the month for the next Gardeners' Digest!
