Can you handle one more Halloween layout from me? I promise that after this post I'll move on. There's just something about the season's crisp air, the rich colors, and oh yeah, the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins that make me want to hang onto this time of year!
Today I wanted to share a page I did with the BasicGrey Hipster line. It's not technically a fall/Halloween collection, but it worked really well for just that! I enlarged the photo of Hayden (how cute is this boy?!?) with his freshly carved pumpkin and used my beloved grid to fill the rest of the space:
I always love using little square blocks on a page because they're so much fun to decorate - like little layouts within a layout! I layered them up with patterned paper, die cuts, wood veneer, tags, chipboard and those funky flocked rub ons. And of course, stitching. Gotta have that stitching.
Speaking of domestic things like sewing, our muffin supply is running dangerously low. So I'm off to do a little baking to fix that. Have a wonderful weekend!
