This week's layout definitely fits the Simple Saturday theme to a tee! A bit of stamping, some mini photos in wood frames, a title and journaling. Oh, and a few sequin snowflakes. Because you just can't do simple without sequin snowflakes.
S U P P L I E S :
It would probably take most scrappers about 15 minutes to complete this design, but because I'm The World's Worst Stamper (don't even try to contest this fact. I can ruin a layout with a stamp faster and more irreparably than anyone in the universe. Word.) it took me a good 30 minutes of "test stamping" on a scrap sheet of paper to figure out how to get the ink ombre to look decent.
I ended up using two Jenni Bowlin inks - Lavender Sachet & Chewing Gum - to get this look. I stamped it on the "B" side of one of the kit-exclusive papers that I designed. It's a super simple, slightly textured white background that's almost as plain as white cardstock, but not quite.
The stamp, white background, snowflake sequins, and wood frames are all JBS exclusives, and you can grab them in the Papercrafting Kit and Artisan Add-On, both of which are still available. (And perfect for talented stampers, and uh, the rest of us, too.)
