I know that today is technically a Give-It-Away Thursday, and while I don't have one of my traditional giveaways today, I do have something for you (just keep reading, just keep reading!)
A few weeks back, Hayden was honored at the NJHS induction for his community service over the course of the school year. Each NJHS member is required to complete at least 12 hours of service, but he managed to log in more than double that. I'm not sure exactly how, as just about every free minute I witnessed he was working on algebra, building a website, and filming his next great documentary. But then again, this kid never fails to amaze me.
I documented it on a star-filled layout using the BasicGrey Capture line. This is seriously one of the most versatile collections I ever worked with. I've gone through two paper packs already and just can't get enough. It was perfect for a vibrant, colorful tribute to my (not-so-little) star!

After I filled the star die cuts with various papers, I added some of the Capture printed tape to a few of the stars, accenting each with a silver star. The tape is pretty translucent and lets the pattern show through, but adds just enough texture and detail to be interesting.
So, as promised, here's my little giveaway for today...the star cut file I designed for this page is available as a FREE download over at the BasicGrey blog. Just hop on over there, click to download, and you'll be seeing stars in no time! I'd love to see anything you create with it!
Hope you have a great Thursday, friends!
