While the kids were away last week, I spent a decent amount of time in my office with the windows open, music pumping (this album's been on repeat 'round here) and the June JBS Mercantile kit on my table. It's a perfectly summery mix of colors and patterns, with plenty of the new My Mind's Eye collection, Market Street:
I kept all my designs really simple - I wasn't feeling anything too complex or techniquey. On the first page, I relied on my old standby, the grid (surprise, surpise!) and kept things linear on the other two. Here are the pages that resulted:

This last page, I used the papers from the Papercrafting Kit, along with some of the green journaling cards from the Historian Kit to cut repeating letters "X" and "C" since this layout features Hayden at his first cross-country meet last fall. I stitched the letters down and added a few word stickers. Super simple, but I kinda love how bold and bright it is!
To see some of the close-up details of these pages, be sure and check out the JBS Mercantile Gallery. There are some amazing works from the design team there this month - I am always so inspired by my fellow JBS designers!
And speaking of teams, I wanted to mention the team that brought you the Phone Photography Project last summer (which I was honored to be a part of!) is now offering this motivational class as a self-paced workshop. You'll find challenges and prompts to help you document your summer with your smartphone, including photography tips & tricks, app reviews, and inspiring ideas for projects to use all the fabulous photos you'll take! And as a sequel to this workshop, there's a brand new Phone Photography Project 2 that starts July 17, so if you're looking for all-new content to help shape up your summer phone photos, check it out as well!
Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!
