If you've been reading here for any period of time, you know that I have a soft spot in my heart for animals and their welfare. As a veterinarian's daughter, I've been lucky enough to be surrounded by pets my whole life and know the unconditional love, loyalty and comfort they bring to our lives.
I also know how heartwrenching it can be when our pets' health is compromised. When the plight of Bongo, a little 8-month old Morkie was brought to my attention, my heart went out to him and his family. It's no fun when our pets are ailing, and the added financial stress of impending vet bills only compounds that. So I donated to Bongo's cause in hopes of helping a fellow pet-loving family through a hard time.
Usually my giveaways don't require any stipulations on your part - they are just a way to share some love and scrap goodies with you loyal readers - but today, I'd like to use it as a platform to encourage you to give to Bongo's family. If you are able to give any amount (even a few dollars!), just email me your donation receipt and I'll send you these Script Title cut files as a thank you:
In addition, everyone who donates, regardless of amount, will also be entered to win this collection of products from the Lily Bee Design We R Family collection, which includes a 6x6 paper pad, metal flair buttons, wood veneer pieces, and a roll of coordinating washi tape:
I'll keep the entries open until Tuesday, August 4, when the winner will be randomly selected and posted below.

I suppose part of my empathy for Bongo is due to my own family's experience with our kitten, Tater, over the past few months. She was diagnosed with the fatal virus FIP in May and we've been doing everything possible to keep her comfortable and keep the disease from progressing. Unfortunately, this past week she has shown considerable decline, and we are struggling to face the inevitable fact that her time with us is coming to a close. These little creatures take up such a huge part of our hearts, and saying goodbye is so hard.
