When a certain design format works for me, I tend to use it over and over.Because I'm lazy like that. And one such format is what I oh-so-cleverly call a Circle of Circles. (Apparently, I'm also lazy at thinking up names.) You can see this design in action on this page, and also here, but today I'm adding a little twist with some peek-a-boo cut outs!
S U P P L I E S :
This design uses a double cardstock base - one underneath to hold the enamel dots, and one on top with the circles cut out. I've adhered them together with foam squares so the top layer "floats" above the enamel dots.
The flower shapes were cut from various Bella Blvd papers and fit perfectly around the punched out circle. I tucked in a few green leaves that help connect the flowers and make it look like a wreath encircling my photos and journaling.
I omitted one of the flowers from the circle to allow room for my layered title. You could also position the title in the center of the design, or let it overlap the circles if you wanted!
If you'd like to try out this design, you can download the cut files I used by clicking the image below. It contains a zipped folder that includes the circles, flowers and leaves in both svg and dxf formats.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend - and don't forget to be a little lazy!
