Things I have learned after my first workout with Jillian:
- I have muscles in my shoulders. And this workout makes them very, very sore.
- Jillian could make a fortune with endorsements for an ibuprofen company. I'd suggest packaging a 500 tablet-bottle along with the DVD.
- I have serious coordination issues when attempting to do jumping jacks or any other calisthenics-type exercise that involves syncing hand & foot movement. The dog actually snuck out of the room while I was doing these as if he was too embarrassed to stay and watch.
- It is quite possible that IF I ever can execute a push-up with perfect form (and with these weakling shoulder muscles, that is one big IF), Jillian just might want to move to Colorado and be my best friend.
- Sometimes, when in the midst of an intense, muscle-screaming workout, I lose my grip on reality.
But I know you're not here to listen to me gripe about workouts and sore muscles. You're here for Give-It-Away Thursday! (Or, as I'm considering renaming it: T-H-R-U-S-D-A-Y. And yes, I still cannot type this damn word.)
Today I have a nice little collection of American Crafts embellishments from the Peachy Keen line:
A disclaimer - I have used two of the stickers in the Remarks pack, but there are tons of full sheets left!
If you'd be interested in receiving these goodies, leave me a comment below. Internationals are welcome to comment, but you'll have to pay postage. I'll leave comments open until Friday morning, May 6 at 6:30 am (MST) and will randomly draw a winner and post their name shortly thereafter.
Now, where's my Advil??
