After several years of attending a neighborhood brunch with Santa and getting family photos (and of course, conveying all our Christmas wishes to the jolly old elf!), we've developed a fondness for "our Santa." His snowy white beard, his sparkling eyes, and the fact that he always smells like peppermint and chocolate make him number one in our hearts! In fact, we don't take too kindly to all those other impostors out there, pretending to be the real Santa. Whenever we spot them, the kids always comment that they can tell the difference between the fake St. Nick and the real one!
So of course, I knew the story of "Our Santa" needed a page in our Christmas album. I used a photo from last year's brunch and lots of festive holiday papers to make the layout:
S U P P L I E S :
The bottom half of the page was created using a 1.5" circle punch. I punched 8 circles of each pattern and layered them from the bottom edge up, overlapping each consecutive layer. I added several small sentiment stickers to some of the circles and topped the last row with a patterned paper border.
And shhhhhh...don't tell my kids...but on Sunday night, Santa is making a special stop at our house to share a Christmas story and reveal which family members made the Nice List. I'm so excited to surprise them and make another holiday memory with "Our Santa!"
