While assembling outfits for these weekly posts, I've come to the realization that I own a lot of clothing in stripes, plaid, and polka dots. Which, um aren't the easiest patterns to mix and match together. And I should probably remember this the next time I hand over my credit card for another polkie dot top. But I thought I'd share a few of my favorites today!
Hmmm...it's also becoming obvious that I have many, many things from Target. Proof that if a girl has a serious designer-denim addiction, something in the wardrobe budget has to give!
Since winter is nowhere to be found in Colorado, my favorite plaid trench is getting a lot of use right now. It's the perfect weight for the warm-ish weather and the plaid is seasonably festive.
Underneath I've kept the red and black color scheme with a polka dot chiffon top under my go-to cardi. Yes, you've seen this red sweater before, but I thought I'd try to fool you by putting a red fabric flower pin on it:
And as if a bold plaid jacket, bright red sweater, and polka dot top weren't enough, I threw in another set of tiny polka dots on my shoes:
Yes, those are peep toes. In December. In Colorado. My snowboots are totally jealous right now.
