I fully recognize the correlation between getting dressed each day and the amount of productivity that results. There's no denying that putting on a pulled together look helps me get shit done! But let's be real....some days it just doesn't happen and it's athleisure wear to the rescue. Whether I've opted to get in a workout instead of shower, or am just too lazy to put together an outfit, these leggings come in clutch every time.
Here's six of my favorites that are in heavy rotation in my closet - and all the reasons I love them!
1//Zella Moto High-Waist Leggings ($34.50) I always grab a pair of Zella leggings during the Nordstrom sale because
they are amazing quality, but kind of pricey! love the high waistband and wicking material on these tights,
and the flattering seaming is a great touch too.
2//All in Motion Contour Curvy Tight ($22.50) These Target finds are a great price point for the quality, which is
a thicker material definitely suited for staying put during intense workouts. The waist is really high, which I love because I have
a long torso, but they might not work if you're shorter-waisted.
3// Aerie Offline Real Me Legging ($34.96) I love these leggings for super soft fabric and the cute twist detail
at the waist (which is super slimming!) They aren't really thick or compressive enough to wear for high impact exercise, but they are
beyond comfy and a great pick for running errands around town in comfort!
4//Lululemon Align Leggings ($98.00) There's a reason these leggings are on every must-have list...they really
are sooooo good! The patented Nulu material is unrivaled in softness and stretch, and no one makes a more flattering
seam pattern. Totally lives up to hype and worth the splurge!
5//CRZ Yoga Naked Feel Leggings ($24.00) Hailed as a great Lululemon dupe, these tights are truly like a second skin
and stay put during the most rigorous of exercise, not to mention the price point means you can buy almost four pairs for the price
of one Lulu pair! I love the wicking fabric (and it totally resists dog hair and lint, which is a huge plus in this household!)
6//Old Navy Elevate Powersoft Leggings ($24.97) Old Navy has steeped up their activewear game and I'm here for it!
These fun patterned tights have good compression and fit and the side pocket is so handy for stashing your phone. With more
than 6000 five-star reviews, these tights are a definite staple in any active closet!
All of these tights have secured a deserved spot in my closet but I'm always on the hunt for new additions! What's your favorite athletic tight (and, most importantly, do you love them enough to wear them even when you're not working out??)
